StorageCraft has announced the signing of Innovix Distribution for a partnership in Malaysia. Both companies see excellent growth potential resulting from the relationship.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Innovix Distribution has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau across 47 locations in Asia. The company has a portfolio of more than 80 leading ICT and lifestyle brands, with more than 5,500 channel partners.
“We are delighted to add a substantial distributor such as Innovix to our successful team,” said Jason Tan, StorageCraft’s regional manager for Asia. “Their 20-plus years of IT know-how, supported by partners ranging from small to enterprise users across various markets, offers an impressive range of opportunities. Our data protection solutions complement Innovix’s product portfolio, and we look forward to enhancing our joint market penetration in multiple market segments.”
“Our partnership with StorageCraft is a strategic one, and we stand to meet our business goals into 2018 and beyond,” said Thomas Teng, head of Innovix distribution. “The relationship also presents us with an opportunity to develop a new partner base and reach untapped verticals. By leveraging each others’ strengths, we can grow and maintain a profitable business.”
He added: “Innovix has a team that drives the business for Cloud products like Microsoft Office 365 and Azure. StorageCraft subscription licensing will complement our Cloud offering and help increase sales for both of us. With the StorageCraft OneBlox storage system and its innovative data protection and data management features, we will be able to position and target the mid to enterprise market in line with our direction and new enterprise structure, to focus on the larger business opportunities.”
Tan expects Innovix customers to benefit from StorageCraft’s unique offering in the market, delivering Intelligent Data Management Solutions for SMEs in Malaysia. The movement to the cloud helps drive growth in data protection for SaaS applications. In addition, StorageCraft’s solution to protect Office 365 data is seen as a major shift in the market for Innovix customers taking advantage of their existing Azure Storage Pool.
While Malaysia hosts the initial strategic partnership between StorageCraft and Innovix, the companies are looking forward to eventually expand their Malaysian partnership to Hong Kong.
