Konfx gets updates and extra service support

With smartphones growing increasingly powerful, the use of apps has been extending greatly as well. While smartphone solutions may not have driven down much of the overall cost of technology, they have certainly served to make life easier. One of the ways has been though the use of conference management apps, such as with Konfx.

First introduced by Malaysian developer Gain Secure late in 2016, the app was intended to combine industry leading event management tools and offer planners the capacity to easily create dedicated conference companion apps for their business events.

It was a perfect blending point of technology and human-centricity.

When Gain Secure Founder and CEO Walter Wong first introduced Konfx, he mentioned that the company’s success has “always been predicated on delivering best-of-breed solutions to our customer base”. Unlike the regular platitudes developers offer, he has apparently taken this truly to heart.

Over the course of 2017, Konfx grew from strength to strength, supporting multiple notable conferences in Malaysia such as MAX Reload 2017 by Telekom Malaysia, EO Taipan Masterclass by Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Experts Live Asia 2017 by Infront Consulting and Malaysia Global Azure Bootcamp 2017 from Azure User Group Malaysia.

The app then went global, reaching out in support of the Global Azure Bootcamp CDMX in Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico; Global Azure Bootcamp – RS at Porto Alegre, Brazil; ExpertsLive Australia 2017; United Kingdom based UC and Cloud Day 2017; Global Azure Bootcamp conference in Melbourne, Australia; and Colombo Global Azure Bootcamp in Sri Lanka.

This has not stopped Wong, who has taken Konfx from just another mobile app to a completely 360 one-stop solution today.

“We have always said that Konfx is a work in progress and that’s what this really represents. We want our customers to rest assured that when they get on board with us, we’re looking to their future as well. By constantly growing the Konfx app, we keep one of the best event management apps in the region relevant, so our customers don’t have to worry about anything else,” said Wong.

The typical conference organizer will often spend days before events arranging for the printing of name tags. Aside from being a time-consuming job that requires accuracy, the badges also need to be arranged and sorted to help reduce the time taken to find the name tag on the day itself. What if a last-minute delegate shows up and needs a badge printed ad-hoc?

With Konfx’s new badge-printing feature, no more pre-print of name tags and sorting required. Delegates just need to any registration counter to check-in and have their badges printed accurately and quickly, on the spot.

“What you have to realise here today is that customers are becoming ever-critical of the events they attend. There are so many, so how do you stand out from the others? You need to hit on the head that vital good first impression with your attendees and guests. Offer them a seamless experience and save yourself the stress of unnecessary extra work,” he added.

Gain Secure has also enhanced the RSVP site to provide customers with QR codes via email to ease the check in process. Along with additional improvements on reporting features, provision for coordinates of conference venues and Facebook page updates, Konfx is better than ever before.

Event managers need to have confidence that everything will go smoothly. Thanks to Gain Secure’s hardware rental services, event organizers can now really have everything ready to make their events a roaring success.

With the new badge printing service feature, Gain Secure is going the full mile and has prepared Barcode Scanners for QR check-in, Label Printers, Traffic Monitoring via tablet and registration laptops configured for the Konfx RSVP system.
