Lewis’ 20-year career in various leadership positions in digital companies has provided him with experience in building teams, processes, and designing and implementing strategies in Asia Pacific markets. Most recently, Lewis held the position of Chief Commercial Officer in Carousell, one of the region’s largest digital marketplace platforms.

Prior to that, he was the Chief Business Officer for PropertyGuru, where he led the country operations in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia as well as the regional support, trade marketing, and pricing organisations. His depth in digital experience was also drawn from his time at Tripadvisor, NewCorp’s digital arm (News Digital), and Apple.

“Lewis’ appointment is testament to our commitment to be the best career platform in Asia. He brings with him a fresh set of eyes, practical APAC-wide marketplace experience, while bolstering our leadership rank with deep digital experience,” said Peter Bithos, Chief Executive Officer, Asia for SEEK. “He also shares our love of building teams and culture that are fun, passionate, and high-performing, which is a great bonus!”

Complementing Lewis’ appointment is the promotion of one of SEEK Asia’s leadership’s stalwarts, Isaac Shao, to the position of Head of Unification and Transformation, Asia.

Isaac was previously the CEO for JobsDB Hong Kong, the company’s largest and best performing market in Asia. Under his leadership, JobsDB HK continued to be a market leader and a strong franchise, maintaining strength in brand, employee engagement, and financial performance.

In his new role, Isaac will be the Asia’s main point of contact in supporting SEEK’s APAC Unification, ensuring seamless migration of platforms and transforming our business process, and connecting with all key stakeholders in both APAC and ANZ to ensure the best practices are shared and implemented throughout the migration journey.

Commenting on this promotion, Peter said: “This is a well-deserved and well-earned career step up for one of our own best talents. Isaac is extremely digital-savvy, both with us, and over his whole career. He has achieved success with countless on-ground innovations, partnerships, and digital growth initiatives.”

Prior to SEEK Asia, Isaac founded and ran his own startup, besides serving in Google, where he ran online sales and operations for Hong Kong. He also earned the Distinguished Salesperson Award through the Distinguished Salesperson Award Program sponsored by The Hong Kong Management Association.
