Products purchased through ESD system have all the benefits of box products and come with no physical media. All the content is available via direct download and product licenses can be moved to new PCs or Macs immediately.
Microsoft products available now, nationwide through Switch are the Windows 10 (Home and Pro), Office 365 (Home and Personal), Office 2016 (Home & Student, Home & Business), Office 2016 for Mac (Home & Student, Home & Business), Project 2016 (Standard and Professional), Visio 2016 (Standard & Professional) and Office Professional 2016 (Only available through ESD).
As the ESD system is still new to Malaysia, it is important to note that as of now, Switch is the only retailer in the country selling product keys delivered through ESD.
Microsoft does not otherwise distribute products keys as standalone products. Non-genuine keys may not work for activation, or even if they work may still be blocked later if they are reported as stolen.
