Get a Custom Desktop with Illegear RAIDER

Illegear has just entered the custom gaming desktop market with the introduction of the Illegear RAIDER. Unlike the earlier Illegar TROIKA which offered limited customization, the RAIDER will let you choose almost every single part you want.

The base design hits cash registers at a mere RM3,999 but for gamers who feel the need for more performance that price tag can go up fairly quickly. After all, you can choose from the latest GeForce RTX graphics, Intel processors or more to fill up that tower casing.

Although Illegear has in their press release noted that RAIDER also supports AMD Ryzen configurations, playing with their RAIDER configuration tool doesn’t seem to make that work completely. The only way you can probably select a Ryzen build would be to contact them for a special order custom build.

RAIDER also comes with lots of other possbilities though, ranging from cool RGB lighting and neat cable sleeves all the way to full out watercooling to prevent overheating. It can also suport up to 4 RAM modules and a ton of hard drive options, including M.2 drives.

Depending on the graphic card you choose, the default system will be powered by a full modular 500W (for 1050Ti & 1060) or 600W (1070Ti, 1080Ti, RTX2080) power supply.

RAIDER is ASUS Aura Sync Certified

The Raider is also a certified ASUS Aura Sync product. All the RGB components used in Raider are ASUS Aura Sync capable including motherboard, GPU, water cooler, RAM, RGB cables, Fans and SSD; all fully synchronized and controllable with a built-in Asus software.

Starting from RM3,999, the based build of the RAIDER comes equipped with Intel Core i5-8400 processor and Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 AMP SE 6GB GDDR5, XPG 8GB DDR4 2666MHz RGB RAM, 240GB M.2 NVMe SSD, 1TB 3.5” TOSHIBA 7200RPM HDD and 2 years carry-in warranty default.
