G.SKILL 4000MHz Ripjaws DDR4 SODIMM coming in Q1 2018

G.SKILL recently broke news about its upcoming 4000MHz Ripjaws DDR4 SODIMM kit which runs CL18-18-18-38 32GB (4x8GB) at 1.35V. These are the best CL rates we’ve seen in SODIMM kits so far and G.SKILL is betting hard on hand picked Samsung B-die DDR4 IC components.

This follows closely on the company’s recent release of the high performance DDR4-3800MHz CL18-18-18-38 Ripjaws DDR4 SO-DIMM kit and pushed the performace envelope just that bit further. Aside from laptops, it’s apparent that the hard push behind SODIMMs is also taking aim at small form factor (SFF) PCs.

Thanks to high-performance SODIMM kits, SFF PCs can now shoot for the starts unhindered by memory speeds. The following screenshot shows this memory kit tested for over 6 hours on the ASRock X299E-ITX/ac mini-ITX motherboard with the Intel Core i9-7900X processor.
