As Malaysian businesses rethink their business continuity strategies amidst the global pandemic,Enfrasys, alocal homegrowntechnology company, has risen to the occasion to help Malaysian organizations recover and build business resiliency. A key driver in Malaysia’s digital transformation journey, Enfrasys has grown to be a go-to IT consulting partner and front-liner for organizations in Malaysia, prioritizing three key areas which include workplace transformation, security and automation.
Workplace Transformation
When the Movement Control Order (MCO) was announced in March 2020, Enfrasys had worked closely with customers in the financial services industry, including entities under the Ministry of Finance, to accelerate their workplace transformation to remote work by implementing the necessary infrastructure.
For instance, tools such as Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) were introduced and devices were upgraded toWindows 10 to ensure they were up to date and compliant, enhancing efficiency and security while working from home. Concurrently, Enfrasys helped its customers strategize their migration to the cloud, a major step for any organization embracing remote work.
Security
While remote work has many benefits, underprepared organizations can be vulnerable to cyberattacks, compromising their data protection, security and privacy. More than 300 million fraudulent sign-in attempts to Microsoft’s cloud services are identified each day globally.
With that in mind, Enfrasys has proactively introduced Microsoft Azure Advanced Threat Protection and Microsoft Cloud App Security to their customers. This extra layer of security reinforces multi-factor authentication, blocking more than 99.9 percent of account compromise attacks as well as preventing phishing and brute force attacks.
Automation
In addition, Enfrasys made significant strides with its customers in the automationfield, through the introduction of Azure CycleCloud. This enables the management and scalability of data servers as well as enhanced computational power, at a previously impossible scale. Azure Arc was also proactively introduced to promote hybrid cloud, whilst maintaining resources efficiency, without needing to go through the complicated route of integrating multiple cloud solutions together.
These are some of the vital and in-demand digital solutions for organizations’ business continuity, employee productivity and collaboration as well as customer engagement.
“We’re honored to extend our expertise and solutions to Malaysian organizations and advance their digital transformation aspirations. Through our partnership with Microsoft, we are able to help our customers remain competitive and resilient through exceptional and industry-leading digital solutions,” said Beh Chor How, Managing Director of Enfrasys Consulting Sdn Bhd.
“As a partner-led organization, we’re proud to be working with Enfrasys to support our nation and customers during these unprecedented times. Our partners like Enfrasys have been working, innovating, and building technologies to allow our customers to tackle both the challenges and opportunities of today and we look forward to further accelerating the digital journeys of our customers together,” said K Raman, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia.
In recognition of Enfrasys’ contribution towards the nation’s digital transformation efforts and outstanding year-on-year business growth at 138.6%, the company was named as the Microsoft Partner of the Year for Malaysia. “Winning the Microsoft Partner of the Year award for Malaysia is an incredible accomplishment for us, and we remain committed as always, to empowering Malaysian businesses and accelerating digitalization in the country,” said Beh.
The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were classified in several categories, with honorees chosen from a set of more than 3,300 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide.
The victory marks the second time Enfrasys has been named Microsoft Partner of the Year, the first being in 2018. Since then, Enfrasys has obtained a total of 13 Gold Competencies for Security, Communications, Data Analytics, Application Integration and Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions.
